When ready, this will be an independent, privacy-focused, ad-free search engine with its own crawler. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties we're not likely to launch it soon. Initially the delay was due to problems with crawling slowing down, and now it is with the savings running out.
Our crawler shouldn't misbehave, but if it does, you can crawl-delay it (in seconds) or disallow it by the user-agent WepchSearchEngine in your robots.txt:
